I wished we lived closer to Monterey, I would go here every week! It's almost worth the 2+ hour drive... First of all, the wine here is really fairly priced. We got a delicious bottle of Riesling for under $30, it would've cost us at least $15 more at other restaurants. We had the breaded asparagus and ahi tuna tartare for appetizers, duck and sea bass for dinner, and banana bread pudding for dessert. It was all sooo good. I haven't had that yummy of a meal in a long time. The bread pudding was the best dessert I've ever tasted; I think I blacked out a little bit while I was eating it. :) We will definitely go back next time we're in the area.
